Geneva at 1 month

So this baby has kind of taken over our lives. I guess that's how it's supposed to be though :) Geneva is a really good baby. She sleeps for 3-4 hour stretches at night and is pretty easy to get back to sleep after a night time feeding. She doesn't cry very often, and when she does it's usually remedied quickly or easily. She eats great, and now weighs 9 lb 11 oz and is 21 and 1/4 inches long (about 50% in both).
This is the face she makes most often when awake and alert
Sneezing
She grunts a lot. The grunting isn't always associated with doing business (if you know what I mean), most of it seems to be for the pure joy of grunting. Or maybe she's just going to be a professional tennis player someday.

She hasn't graced us with a genuinely induced smile yet, but the little glimpses I get when she's nursing or falling asleep hint that she's going to be a charmer. But we won't have to worry about the boys if she keeps her current hairstyle - we like to call it the George Costanza, with slightly less hair on top. The rest of her features are very feminine and cute, though!
Fashionable socks over the pants look
She really likes being held, nursing, swinging in her swing, laying on mommy's tummy, being in the sling, and laying on her changing table. Our theory with the changing table is that she has a sense of quality (the table is Pottery Barn Kids - bought on Craigslist). If so, we're in trouble.
Hanging out in the swing, with limp arms
And now some pictures from my phone. I always end up getting more with my phone camera since it's usually more accessible than my real camera.
Dreaming

For her first outing Grandma dressed her in stripes and polka dots. She was cute despite the fashion faux pas.  (Don't mind the creepy Henry in the reflection of the mirror.)

this entry made me laugh several times. i didn't know you had a blog, and i'm so excited to read it now! glad nursing is going well, it was really tough for me for the first few months with luke. with lil renee, (who is just a few days younger than geneva!) it's been an absolute dream. hooray for babies!

She looks so much like Henry in her swing picture. I'm excited she's coming to me house in a few weeks. I guess you and Henry can come too.
